Model 01 is the most powerful light of its class, far exceeding anything else at this size and price. A perfect blend of raw lighting power, sophisticated optics and breakthrough electronics design. We have developed unique technologies to achieve this.
The beam of Model 01 is anything but typical. We engineered a special type of integrated lenses that multiply the useful light and create a uniform, dense beam of light that reaches much further into the water.
The rock-solid housing is made in the UK from a special type of PC that offers excellent impact & UV resistance while retaining superb optical clarity — no yellowing, no fogging, even after years. It is entirely non-metallic, so there is nothing to corrode and nothing to bond. Model 01 is certified IP68 at 15 meters and the housing is rated UL94 V-0. Inside, the Active Thermal Protection safeguards the LEDs and electronics, leading to the extended lifespan YPHOS is known for.
Prewired with 2 m of waterproof, color-coded cable, a mounting template in the box, and just two stainless screws. The only hole in the transom is for the cable. No bonding, because the housing is not metal. A pair is fitted in an afternoon.
Model 01 is also available in a black housing, perfect for darker hulls. Identical performance, identical mounting, same thermal performance — only a different housing color.
